Eco Summer

What's happening in the back garden?

Juicing

My in-laws converted me into a believer in juicing. I noticed a difference in myself and Tobey when we consume half a glass of fresh fruit juice each day (preferably being consumed within 5 minutes of being juiced, before oxidation happens). Yes, it's more expensive than shop bought juice and the cleaning of the machine right after can be a pain at times, but it's worth it. I highly recommend this method of getting children to consume fruits and vege.

Prepared fruits
This combination is a modification from a recipe found in our one and only juicing book. But being the lazy me, I normally would just juice whatever fruit that is available + carrots(for sweetness) and a lemon/orange(for a touch of tangy-ness)

Good boy Tobey! SL is still drinking from his watering can. :(

Btw, the juice is a very good idea. We do this from time to time. But you are right, the cleaning is not such a great fun.

@Siew: HAHAHAH! SL is so funny! He probably can't resist the urge to drink form that BIG mug!
Yes,cleaning is such a pain! somemore must clean almost immediately, before the mulch settles and harden.
