This was a short and meaningful trip back home to attend my cousin's wedding. She's as close to me as a sister, so wherever I am in the world, I made it a point to attend her wedding. She was gorgeous as usual and am really happy for her.
Besides that, the real bonus is that I got to spend quality time with my parents and brothers. I realised that it's essential to spend some alone time with them every year. I got to catch up on them and knowing them more as they grow older and wiser. So I am making it a point to go back at least once a year to spend several weeks in my family home with them. I also managed to meet up with many other relatives.
It was tremendously quiet to be back here. Everthing was so fast - paced for the week I was home.Oh well, soon enough we would be back for good.
